YOU CAN WALK FROM SINGAPORE TO JOHOR BAHRU vv Those can be a little troublesome most of the times as the Immigration lines can get you thru the other side from a fast 15 Minutes or as slow as 2 Hours (YES, some people reported that!) It is during the Holiday times. But did you know there is a way, A FAST ONE that can take you between this 2 countries for less than 6 minutes! It is the SHUTTLE TEBRAU, a KTM Malaysia railway service introduced last July 2015. It ferries up to 320 passengers each time between WOODLANDS TRAIN CHECKPOINT and JB SENTRAL vv. The process from Singapore is take a ride thru the city to WOODLANDS TRAIN CHECKPOINT, present your online booking (THE BEST CHOICE!) as booking on the time of travel does not guarantee you a seat on the train. YES! most people take this! From the terminal, they will stamp you OUT of Singapore and then Stamp you IN the Malaysian Peninsula in a matter of Mins. The Ticket cost is 5 SGD (SIN TO JHB) or 5 MYR (JHB TO SIN)... Recently, they are finishing the RTS LINK PROJECT a venture of SMRT-PRASARANA, A RAPID RAILWAY shuttle between the 2 countries. When finished (ESTIMATED END OF 2026) the SHUTTLE TEBRAU will cease as the travel between the 2 countries will utilize this new service.
